The ecommerce shopping application (VirtueMart) is a Shopping Cart Application for selling goods over the internet. It's intended for use in small / mid-sized Online Businesses / Online-Shops, and is both fexible and scalable, so every user who wants to build up a Online Store can use this software for selling their goods to customers.

Standard Features

Optional Features

As standard we will integrate your checkout with the popular Paypal & Google Checkout payment providers (accounts can be opened for free). These providers allow for the payment transaction to take place using their own SSL (Secure Server License), thereby negating the need for your own SSL certificate and the associated costs.

To accept other payments such as credit and debit cards in your online store you will need to open a merchant account with one of tha main banks (or use your existing card facilities / merchant account if you have one). We can offer you advice on opening and operating merchant acocunts.

SSL Certificates will be required should this option be required and are an additional cost of £175. this will enable:

  • safe SSL encryption (128-bit).
  • Capable of live Credit Card Processing.
  • Use mainstream banks.

To get you going we will create up to 50 items (categories / products) as part of the package. Should you require further assistance we can offer the following items:

  • Have us add +10 new products to your store (at one time)* - £20
  • Have us add +20 new products to your store (at one time)* - £30
  • Have us add +30 new categories to your store (at one time)* - £20
  • Other store management or general design work, etc - £POA
